Sustainability Report 2006 - Promoting sound and sustainable development
The EBRD Sustainability Report 2006 assesses the Bank’s impact on the people and the environment in the countries where we operate. It also examines our internal performance. This year’s Report has a special focus on sustainable energy, covering the launch of the Sustainable Energy Initiative and an analysis of the Bank’s investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Report also focuses on issues of transparency and accountability. Case studies highlight how the Bank takes account of environmental and social issues when considering new projects.
