GUAM Leaders Discuss Conflicts and Energy in Baku

The analytical article analyses the outcomes of a meeting by the presidents of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine, and the Prime Minister of Moldova in Baku for a summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM. The participants discussed issues related to the conflicts in Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh and ways of transporting Caspian energy resources to Europe through GUAM countries, bypassing Russia.
