EPIN members

There are two groups of EPIN members. One group, the resource institutions, transfer knowlegde and experience to the other member group, the target institutions from CIS. This is called East-East cooperation.

• Target institute - an institute from a low or middle income country in the post-soviet region (Central Asia, Caucasus, South-Eastern Europe and Western CIS)
• Resource institute – an institute from a high income country in the post-soviet region (New EU member states and Russia)
• East-East Cooperation – the process of transfer of positive and negative experience from the more successful transition countries (new EU member states) to less successful transition countries in the region
