ACIPS 
- Brief description
- Association Alumni of the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies (ACIPS) of the University of Sarajevo is an association of young intellectuals and experts in the fields of democracy and human rights. As such, it aims to contribute the improvement of human rights and democracy, process of European integration and Regional cooperation.The specificity of ACIPS is in its human potential. It gathers group of experts coming from the different sciences, able to perceive and professionally analyze human rights and democracy. Added value of this Association could be seen in their regional distribution, or their presence in all countries of the Region of Southeast Europe and wider. ACIPS is the practical outcome of the activities performed within the Center for Interdisciplianry Postgraduate Studies of the University of Sarajevo that has been established in January 2002. ACIPS has started its activities in Febraury 2003.
- Goals and objectives
- To identify most relevant European integration issues facing BIH society today
- To achieve high standards of independent policy research applicable in the context of BiH by utilising ACIPS networks and local expertise available
- To disseminate policy research findings and views to relevant stakeholders and general public and to advocate for the implementation of these findings
- To establish solid working relationships with other policy research institutions, governments, businesses, and civil society organizations in BiH and wider region
- To identify most relevant European integration issues facing BIH society today
