- Brief description
- Institute of Economic Studies was founded in 1993. IES provides full university education in Economics and Finance - on bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels. The institute actively contributes to the research activity through its own journal in English, working papers, and occasional papers.

- Providing study orientation and style of instruction for students which is comparable with theoretical and applied economics studies at most prominent world universities.
- Providing the analysis of socio-economic situation in the country

- Delivering Bachelors programme, which concentrates on intensive mathematics and statistical-econometric techniques together with theoretical concepts of economic science

- Conducting research based on numerous grants given to the institute and disseminate the results through institute publications, conference and seminar participation
- Delivering Bachelors programme, which concentrates on intensive mathematics and statistical-econometric techniques together with theoretical concepts of economic science
