CASE in partnership with Global Insight released a new report “Economic Feasibility, General Economic Impact and Implications of a Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and Armenia” on September 05, 2008.
The study provides an assessment of current economic and trade relations along with the level of institutional and regulatory harmonization between Armenia and the EU. It also discusses recent developments in service and other sectors.
The report employs a range of methodologies such as a survey of non-tariff barriers, Sussex framework, CGE model and econometric model of FDI flows to evaluate the economic implications and feasibility of various FTA scenarios for Armenia, the EU and selected CIS countries.
