CER - Presentation of an analytical essay "Intellectual Russia: Cartography of Modern Intellectual Directions"

On May 20, 2008 CER hosted a presentation of an analytical essay called "Intellectual Russia: Cartography of Modern Intellectual Directions" by a non-commercial fund “Eurasian heritage” (Moscow, Russia). The publication describes and analyses the contemporary intellectual space of Russia, including the system of knowledge institutions and intellectual centers, communication systems, the market structure of expert knowledge , funding systems, the character of government and society requests to the intellectual community, the mechanisms of intellectual elite formation. In addition, the essay presented the foreign image of Russian intellectual life.
