EPIN Training Workshop in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The EPIN Training Workshop was help on 28-29 April 2008 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. UNDP Uzbekistan Country office and Center for Economic research hosted the event. The workshop trained selected candidates (EPIN young researchers) on proposal writing and dissemination techniques, basic project management, types of policy documentation and many other interesting topics that contributed to the capacity building of the young researchers.

CASE-Kyrgyzstan has published the results of the World Governance Assessment for the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the report the Kyrgyz domestic stakeholders appeared to be critical on current situation and the dynamics of change in governance in the country assigning to the current governance quality a score of 2.32 on the scale from 1 (very low quality) to 5 (excellent quality).
